MAYFIELD, Ky. - King College dropped an overtime semifinal contest against 3-2 Covenant (Ga.) College in a Friday semifinal contest at the NCCAA Mid-East regional tournament.

Julian Allgeier took a pass from Colby Robbins in the 93rd minute and Allgeier scored the game winner for the Scots.

Jessus Ebanks (Georgetown, Grand Cayman) forced overtime with a penalty kick goal with just 1:41 left in the second half.

Raul Laparra (Guatemala City, Guatemala) tied the match at one apiece in the 65th minute with a goal from 30 yards out.

Covenant's first two goals were scored by Robbins. The first was in the seventh minute followed by a 79th-minute goal.

In goal for King, Justin Morrell (Bristol, Tenn.) recorded five saves.

King's record in 2009 was 10-8-1. Covenant, at 10-5-2, will play Mid-Continent (Ky.) University Saturday for the regional championship.
