BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College head swimming coach John Connor recently announced the addition of Christopher Nochowicz and Cameron Buckley to the roster.
Nochowicz (Hendersonville, Tenn.) swam at Pope John Paul II High School where he was a state qualifier four years in a row. He was a member of The News Examiner All-County team as a junior and senior. In addition he was team captain his senior season. Nochowicz has his name on five program records, the 200-yard individual medley, 500 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, at Pope John Paul II.
Buckley (Springfield, Va.) graduated from Robert E. Lee High School where he won many 50 freestyle races this past season. He also was a part of club swimming in the Springfield area.
Nochowicz and Buckley join Taylor Horton (Conyers, Ga.) and Blake Rutherford (Picayune, Miss.) as members of the 2010 signing class.
The Tornado finished seventh at the 2010 Appalachian Swimming Conference Championship in the provisional year as a NCAA Division II member.
