PALM BEACH, Fla. - King College's Shauna Haga was named to the 2010 NCCAA Softball World Series All-Tournament team Sunday.
Haga, a junior from Blountville, Tenn., went 3-for-10 at the event with an on-base percentage of .364 in three games at the event. Her three runs were a team high at the event.
She started with a 2-for-4 effort against Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. On Friday, she was 1-for-4 in the Oakland City (Ind.) University game and reached base via a walk and had a RBI in a rematch with Olivet Nazarene later Friday.
Haga was also named to the 2010 NCCAA Mid-East All-Region squad last week.
King finished in a tie for fifth at the NCCAA World Series and the 2010 season came to an end with a 22-17 record.
