GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - King College improved by 16 shots in Tuesday's final round of the Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational held at Link Hills Country Club.
After a 390 Monday, the Lady Tornado posted a 374 in the final 18 holes.
Manda Minor (Bluff City, Tenn.) paced King with an 85 Tuesday, two shots better than Monday's score. Malorie McBride (Brentwood, Tenn.) was six shots better with a 90. Heather Payne (Maryville, Tenn.) carded a 93 while Ashley Jones shaved 13 shots off her Monday round with a 108.
Methodist (N.C.) College held onto the team lead with a 306 to have a two-day score of 604, a shot better than Belmont Abbey (N.C.) College who fired a 296 Tuesday.
This event wrapped up the King season.
