Tornado drops 3-1 decision at IPFW

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - King College wrapped up the 2010 season with a 3-1 defeat Saturday at NCAA Division I Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne.

The Tornado end the season with a 13-7 record which included an 11 match winning streak. IPFW went to 10-16.

The first two games went to the home team 30-25 and 30-24. King won the third 30-26, but IPFW finished the match with a 30-23 decision in the fourth.

Ariel Apolinario (Miami, Fla.) had a team-best 15 kills along with seven total blocks, one solo and six assisted. James Friddle (Cartersville, Ga.) and Michael Koebel (Richmond, Va.) had 13 and 12 kills, respectively.

Joel Salva (Lake Mary, Fla.) provide 46 assists with seven digs and King's only two aces. Morris Cephas (Richmond, Va.) led the squad with 13 digs.
