BRISTOL, Tenn. - King College's Mark Dockery and Elisha Murray were named to the 2010 NCCAA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship All-Tournament team.
Dockery, a junior and Nickelsville, Va., native, averaged 12.3 points per game at the tournament. He had a 19-point game against Grace (Ind.) College and added 11 in the championship against Northwestern (Minn.) College. Dockery was 11-for-28 from the floor in the three games including eight 3-pointers. Four of the long-range baskets were in the Grace contest. He also averaged 4.3 rebounds per game.
Murray, a senior guard from Ft. Myers, Fla., had a 15-point effort against Grace in the semifinal. He also scored a dozen points in the first round in a come-from behind victory over Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) University.
The Tornado ended up second at the national tournament after a 58-54 defeat against Northwestern in the championship contest. King had a 24-6 record in the 2009-10 season.
