BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their Presidential Honor Roll for the spring semester and King University came in fourth in the league with 233 student-athletes named to the list. The Tornado baseball team led the way for King teams with 25 student-athletes on the list.
Limestone College led the league with 301 while North Greenville came in second with 240 and Emmanuel College was third 235. King then came in next with 233 student-athletes named to the list.
The King baseball team led the way with 25 student-athletes named to the list and cheerleading came in next with 22 student-athletes recognized. Men's soccer was next with 17 student-athletes earning recognition while the softball team had 14 honored. In all, 11 Tornado teams had at least 10 student-athletes named to the Presidential Honor Roll.
Each semester this recognition is given to student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.2 of higher on the 4-point scale. All student-athletes, including underclassmen, transfers, and those who play non-conference sports, are eligible for the recognition as long as they have participated in a sport for the semester in question. The Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll is awarded twice each school year, recognizing the scholastic achievements of student-athletes for each semester.
