BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their Presidential Honor Roll for the spring semester and King University came in sixth in the league with 198 student-athletes named to the list. The Tornado baseball team led the way for King teams with 25 student-athletes on the list.
Limestone College led the league with 338 while North Greenville University was second at 237 and Emmanuel College was third at 220. Belmont Abbey College was fourth with 208 and The University of Mount Olive came in next at 200 with the Tornado following at 198.
The King baseball team led the way with 25 student-athletes named to the list and cheerleading, men's soccer and women's volleyball all followed with 13 student-athletes on the list. Acrobatics and tumbling, men's basketball and women's soccer all had 11 members on the list and women's wrestling was the final team to reach double digits with 10 student-athletes named.
Each semester this recognition is given to student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.2 of higher on the 4-point scale. All student-athletes, including underclassmen, transfers, and those who play non-conference sports, are eligible for the recognition as long as they have participated in a sport for the semester in question. The Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll is awarded twice each school year, recognizing the scholastic achievements of student-athletes for each semester.
