Ward registered a record-breaking performance in Sunday's Conference Carolinas championship game victory over North Greenville University. The senior recorded a double-double performance, with 30 kills and 18 digs, in route to King's first-ever Conference Carolinas title. She also had 14 kills and seven digs in Saturday's semifinal match against Barton College. Ward was also named the Most Valuable Player of the conference tournament.
