Shaffer led the Tornado with a career-high 27 kills this past Saturday in their postseason opener against Southern Wesleyan University. The junior then followed that up with a team-high 21 kills in King's second match of the day in route to a 2-0 start to the postseason. Her efforts helped King advance to the Conference Carolinas semifinals.
