At the Brevard College Tornado Classic, Sean Kilpatrick placed 2^nd with a gutsy effort in the 5k with a time of 15:58.45 after going back and forth for the lead the entire race. He was also a member of the 4x800 relay team that convincingly won the event by 20 seconds, setting a new school record of 8:23.97 in the process.
