Won the 200 yard backstroke in the tri-meet with Mars Hill and Lees-McRae, touching the wall in 1:54.91. Also had a third-place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 10:23.42 before being part of the 200 yard medley relay team that finished third with a time of 1:39.41.
