King University Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Process

A MESSAGE FROM ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, DAVID HICKS

King’s rich tradition in athletics is characterized by the accomplishments represented by student-athletes of the past, who have laid the groundwork for the successes for which our student-athletes strive today.  The King Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes these accomplishments and currently includes 46 individuals and teams with their pictures proudly displayed in the Hall of Fame Room in the Student Center Complex.

On April 21, during Dogwood Weekend, we will induct the King Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2012.  We are seeking nominations of former student-athletes you believe are worthy of consideration. 

The nomination form, along with the criteria for consideration, can be found below.  As you think about King’s strong athletic traditions and those student athletes who excelled in their sport, please nominate those whom you believe deserve consideration.

In order to give those who are ultimately inducted the best opportunity to plan for travel to the induction ceremony, the Selection Committee will make its final selections by Nov. 9.  We are asking for all nominations to be submitted by Monday, February 6 to provide ample time for the committee to consider the nominees.
