BRISTOL, Tenn. - Over the summer, King has undergone many changes, including the Student Center Complex gym floor getting redone. The process took about three weeks, and was completed right before classes started this fall.
Among the many changes across campus this summer resulting from the transition to King University included the gym floor in the Student Center Complex. The floor was sanded, repainted and refinished for the first time since the Student Center Complex opened in 2003. The new floor features the King “K” logo at center court and Conference Carolinas logos at each free throw line as well as NCAA logos on each side of the floor. The court is also shaded differently that it was in the past as the area inside the three-point line is darker than the lane and the rest of the court.
